Best book even !!!!
Have to read it. There is romance, action and adventure in one book.
) Very easy to read, i did it in 24 hours!
And even a little humor !
Got the book from a friend who told me that the new fad in Paris is Musso. I kept wondering why the all time but at the end decided that's a pretty good and easy read, interesting story, predictible at times and some scenes are very unlikely and dumb (ex breaking in a restaurant's kitchen to cook a fancy meal to a teenager he was just giving a ride, bothered me) but at the end, I was satisfied, a good summer read.
I actually found a language mistake. We say les vilaines cernes...not les vilains cernes...But Musso knows this.
Sometimes I like Musso's books, sometimes I don't. This time I liked it. The story is good. It starts with two people exchanging their mobile phones by mistake, and what follows is quite unexpected. Of course it is a love story (it's Musso, after all) but it's full of action and twists. It reads really well and you won't get bored. Half in France, half in the US, the characters are okay - it's more the story that really makes the book. Easily read.
Guillaume Musso definitely has a nice, entice-the-reader kind of writing style. I just couldn’t put this book down. It’s a romantic thriller which is one of my favorite kinds of books.
Musso speaks about our dependence from technology and how technology has changed our lives. When you really think about it we all spend lots of time on the internet. I can’t even imagine what life would be like without the internet. We all constantly check our phone and e-mail which is kind of sad. Even coffee with friends is not what it used to be.
Back to the book. Two people meet by accident. They believe they’ll never see each other again. But, they will and their mobile phones play a major role in their next encounter. Musso has shown both the positive and negative aspects of technology in this way.
Don’t let the title fool you. There are no angels in this book. It’s just a phrase used to refer to fate. Fate wanted the characters to meet and help each other out through the hard times.
To make a long story short, I liked many things about this book. As a matter of fact, I don’t think I can name a single thing I disliked about this book. The language, the flow of the story, the characters, the different culture aspects that are presented are just some of the reasons why I loved this book.
